PADI started its Freediving program in 2015 and has become the most popular freediving training system in the world! The reasons for this are high safety standards, unmatched training system, top marketing and position as the world's leading diving organization!
PADI owns 75% of the World Recreational Diving Education market and 1,000,000 each year. (one million) divers, 137,000. Over 1,000 dive professionals and 6,600. 26.000.000 for more than 50 years since its establishment, serving with more than one dive center. PADI Diving Instructors and Diving Leaders have the right to provide training not only in Turkey but also in 183 countries of the world and are recognized.
If you are a Freediving Instructor from another organisation, we will be happy to assist you in becoming a PADI Freediving Instructor. Our 3-day crossover program consists of three parts: knowledge development, indoor and open water workshops.
As part of this program we will cover:
• Standards for the PADI Basic Freediver / Freediver course
• PADI Basic Freediver / Freediver course theoretical lecture presentations
• Indoor and outdoor water skills presentations of the PADI Basic Freediver / Freediver course
• Risk Management, Legal Liability and Freediving safety
• Marketing plan
Prerequisites
• Have a Freediver Instructor level certificate from a valid training institution.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Being a Current Emergency First Aid (CPR / first aid) Instructor.
• Current medical statement signed by the doctor within 12 months (There is no obstacle to free diving.)
*** If you are not an Emergency First Responder (CPR / First Aid) Instructor, you can do it 2 days before you start Free Diving Instructor training.
