Before beginning PADI Advanced Freediver training, you must be medically trained in basic First Aid and CPR. If you have previously completed medical training, the course must be recognized and valid within the last 24 months.
Otherwise, you must have completed the Emergency First Responder Primary and Secondary care course that meets the PADI First Aid prerequisite for the PADI Resque Diver, PADI Divemaster, and PADI Instructor courses.
The EFR course will last 1 day. We are completely flexible and can plan this around your personal time frame.
Emergency First Responder training focuses on building trust in rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. Course participants learn the simple steps to follow for emergency care. You will practice practicing skills in a non-stressful learning environment.
EFR courses are supported by their own study guides and videos that will enhance your learning experience.
Emergency First Responder Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to enable participants to be confident in their ability to provide care when emergencies arise.
